use robotics system toolbox™ to represent a mobile robot’s environment as an occupancy grid, plan an obstacle-free path between locations on the map, and drive a differential drive robot on a planned path. work with different representations such as quaternions, rotation matrices, and euler angles. two new products were introduced in r2019b to complement the capabilities of robotics system toolbox™: navigation toolbox™ and ros toolbox™.
